President Ruto To KRA : Treat Kenyans With Dignity While Collecting Taxes
President William Ruto has warned leaders and officials in powerful positions against evading to pay taxes.
The Head of State said kenyans should be treated with dignity since they are the one who supports the government.
The president statement comes barely a day after KRA issued an apology after a couple were harassed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) over the wedding gown taxation row.
The President issued the statement during the Kenya Revenue Authority 2023 Tax Payers Day on November 3, 2023.
