Morara to youths: Opposition has no vision for Kenya
Political activist Kebaso Morara now says that the opposition outfit in Kenya has no vision for the country.
In a video he shared on his social media pages on Saturday, Morara said the opposition’s only focus is to remove President William Ruto from office, and nothing beyond that.
He went on to say Kenyan youths must not fall for that, and they must think about how they can turn the many ills affecting our country, including corruption, jobs, and justice, among other issues.
โI encourage the youths of Kenya not to board that bus of tribalism, clueless opposition leaders who are only uniting but do not have a vision, except removing the President. Our vision must go beyond William Ruto.
His remarks come even after openly cozying up to the opposition leaders who are working on a coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Inject party leader attended the launch of Martha Karua-led Peopleโs Liberation Party (PLP), an event that was attended by other opposition politicians, including Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, Eugene Wamalwa (DAP-K) and Rigathi Gachagua who is yet to launch his own party.
A few days later, the former deputy president held a private meeting with Morara, who defended the meeting saying that he was willing and ready to work with like-minded leaders for the better of the country.
Asked about his dalliance with opposition politicians, however, Morara said that he met them and listened to what they had to say and walked away from them.
