Manchester United planning to fine Cristiano Ronaldo £1 million after he criticized the club
Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, is reportedly planning to fine star player Cristiano Ronaldo £1 million as a result of his explosive interview with Piers Morgan, in which he criticized the team for making no progress since the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson left.
“I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you,” Ronaldo said.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered an improbable escape route from Manchester United, with the forward expected to leaving Old Trafford in January.
