Manchester United have confirmed they’ve reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo initially looked to be joining Manchester City with a deal said to be close on Thursday evening.

However, United swooped on Friday morning and made Ronaldo an offer to make a sensational return to the club.

An official statement reads: “Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.”
