Kenya, Czech Republic Pledge To Improve Bilateral Relations Through Investment
President Ruto held bilateral talks with Czech Republic Prime Minister Petr Fiala, President Ruto at statehouse Nairobi.
Kenya and Czech Republic have pledged to enhance their bilateral relations and exploit existing investment opportunities in the two countries.
President Ruto said the two countries will soon sign a negotiated economic agreement that will see Kenya access duty- free and quota -free markets.
He said the two nations will build partnerships that will intensify cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
“Your Excellency, I wish to congratulate you for launching the “Look Africa Policy”. Africa is a continent rich in natural resources, ranging from land, water, oil, natural gas and other minerals,” said President Ruto.
He said Africa has highly skilled human resources, forests and wildlife, among other resources, in abundance, saying Czech resolve to focus on Africa was timely and highly valued.
President Ruto noted that Czech business delegation, which accompanied the Prime Minister would had constructive engagements with its Kenyan counterparts during the Business Forum held on Monday.
