Kalonzo Denies Nairobi Deal With Gachagua Ahead of 2027
Wiper Patriotic Front Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has vehemently denied claims by former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua of a deal to withdraw Wiper’s candidates from Nairobi major seats in favour of Gachagua’s Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) for the 2027 elections. Musyoka accused the government of spreading falsehoods to divide the united opposition.
Speaking at a Thanksgiving ceremony in Machakos County, Kalonzo denied any such agreement and instead accused the government of spreading falsehoods to create divisions within the United Opposition.
“Stop this propaganda that Wiper has left all the seats in Nairobi for DCP. They have to try everything to create tensions between us,” Kalonzo stated.
Kalonzo reiterated that the opposition remains intact and committed to moving together towards their agenda to unseat President William Ruto in 2027.
