Ex-MP Mathew Lempurkel jailed for slapping MP Sarah Korere, released on cash bail
Former Laikipia North MP Mathew Lempurkel has been freed for Ksh100,000 Cash Bail. He had been handed a 12 months sentence in jail for slapping colleague Sarah Korere in 2016.
Lempurkel who was jailed for one year for assaulting lawmaker Sarah Korere was granted the bail by Justice Justus Obwononga pending his appeal on his conviction.
