ERLING HAALAND WINS WORLD PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDAT GLOBE SOCCER AWARD

After losing out to Lionel Messi at both the Ballon d’Or and The Best FIFA awards, Erling Haaland  got his flowers on Friday winning the globe soccer award.

The Manchester City and Norway striker was named Best Men’s Player of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

Haaland thanked his club, team-mates and the fans when he picked up the award.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola won Coach of the Year at the ceremony, with the Premier League and European champions also winning Best Club.
