Ekuru Aukot Files Petition To Have Raila, Kalonzo, Mudavadi Barred From Vying For Presidency
According to Ekuru Aukot, Raila, Kalonzo, and Mudavadi are still public officers because they continue receiving retirement package for their previous roles. In that case, he wants them barred from seeking elective positions.
In a petition filed in court, Aukot argues that Odinga, Kalonzo and Mudavadi being are public officers and are therefore unqualified to vie for the Presidency.
The Thirdway Alliance Kenya leader wants the court to direct the electoral body IEBC not to clear Odinga, Kalonzo and Mudavadi to vie for the Presidency or the position of Deputy President.
