CJ Martha Koome Reshuffles 33 Judges Including Antony Mrima

Chief Justice Martha Koome on Tuesday, December 17, reshuffled 33 judges including senior High Court judges.

In a notice issued by Senior High Court Principal Magistrate Eric Ogolla, several high-ranking judges like Nixon Sifuna and Antony Mrima were affected. Judge Alfred Mabeya was moved from Nairobi to Kisumu.

The Chief Justice also transferred High Court Judge Nixon Sifuna from the Commercial Division to the Civil Division in Nairobi. Additionally, Koome transferred Judge Anthony Mrima from Kitale Court to the Civil Division in Nairobi.

“Greetings from the Office of the Principal Judge This is to bring to your notice that the Hon. Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya and President of the Supreme Court has effected the following transfers as indicated in the list below,” read the notice from Principal Judge to all High Court judges.
