CAF Players Awards 2023: Osimhen & Oshoala Awarded Top Honors
The most eagerly-awaited award, for African Player of the Year, went to Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala.
The Nigerian had a magnificent 2022-2023 season with Napoli, winning the Italian Seria A.
In the women’s category, Asisat Oshoala was named African Player of the Year for the sixth time after 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022.
