Brace for heavy rainfall coming weeks. MET Warns
Various parts of Kenya are likely to experience floods, owing to heavy rainfall in the next week, the weatherman has warned.
The Kenya Meteorological Department says during the season, the North Eastern region, lake regions and the Central highlands are expected to receive elevated probabilities of the rainfall received.
Residents are encouraged to take precautions as drivers plying different routes in those areas being advised to be most careful where floods maybe expirienced to avoid loss of lives ahead of the festive season.
Latest reports indicates that 87000 families have been affected by floods across the country.
