“As of now, William Ruto will beat Raila Odinga, Although I Don’t Support Ruto, He Is Extremely Clever” ~ Willy Mutunga.
He said he does not support his politics but noted that Ruto’s as extremely clever man and his strategy seems to be working for him towards 2022 election.
In an interview with The Standard he said “”Dangerous as it may sound, the Hustler thing is challenging the status quo; the ‘haves’ vs the ‘have-nots’, even though DP Ruto is one of the ‘haves,”
Mutunga attributed the DP’s upper hand to what he termed as a good advisory team, something he says Ruto’s main opponents are lacking.
“Raila has been let down by his intellectual team… The thing is, Ruto has cornered them because they can’t oppose his bottom-up narrative,” said Mutunga.
