President-elect William Ruto has said he will respect Monday’s Supreme Court judgment on the presidential petition and has called on all Kenyans to follow suit.

Ruto said he will lead from the front by abiding by the rule of law as stipulated by the Constitution just as he respected the IEBC’s decision.

“Tomorrow, equally, we will respect the decision of the Judiciary because we are a country based on the rule of law and respect for all the institutions,” Ruto said.

Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua have exuded confidence that the court would deliver a sound judgment on their petition challenging Ruto’s victory and urge citizens to maintain peace.
