Teacher Rewarded After Going Viral for Repairing Pupil’s Uniform in Class
A teacher who warmed the hearts of Kenyans by mending the uniform of a student on Friday, May 19, was rewarded with a three-day trip to Mombasa via air travel.
The teacher, Joyce Sempela Malit, was accompanied by the student whose uniform she was pictured mending.
“The Day for Teacher Joyce Sempela Malit and her pupil to enjoy their much-deserved break is here. We hope this will encourage all of us to remain kind and ready to extend help to those who need it most,” stated Expeditions Maasai Safaris CEO Pancras Karema.
The trip was fully paid for by Expeditions Maasai Safaris, a Nairobi-based travel company.
