Shock As Raila Top Allies From Luo Nyanza Dump Him For Ruto
President-elect William Ruto has this afternoon welcomed a number of leaders from the Luo Nyanza region to his Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
The group that defected from Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party comprise one Members of Parliament and those who lost in the recent General Election.
They include Ugenya MP David Ochieng, former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma, immediate former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa and immediate former Kisumu East MP Olango Oluoch.
Ochieng, who is the party leader of Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG), said his outfit will work with Ruto moving forward.
However, Ochieng associated himself with Raila during the campaigns to win the seat. Ugenya is in Siaya, the home county of Raila.
