Senator Amason Kingi Names Senate Majority Leader And Deputy
Speaker Amason Kingi has named Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot as the Senate Majority Leader.
In a special sitting on Tuesday, 4th October, the Senate Speaker further announced Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja as Cheruiyotâs deputy
Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale is the new Senate Majority Whip. He will be deputised by Samburu Senator Ltumbesi Lelegwe.
Kilifi Senator Steward Madzayo is the Senate Minority Leader and will be deputised by Kitui Senator Enock Wambua.
In the Minority Whip position, Kingi named Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo, who will be deputised by Narok Senator Ledama Olekina.
Pursuant to S/O 190&199 (3), Senators after a 2nd attempt of voting via Roll Call have approved the list of Nominated Senators to serve in the SBC.
