Ruto gazettes dismissal of his Cabinet
President William Ruto has gazetted the dismissal of his entire Cabinet and assigned Prime Cabinet Secretary to act in all the vacant ministerial positions.
In the gazette notice dated July 12, the President said the ministerial positions of 21 Cabinet Secreatries and the Attorney General are now officially vacant.
“That in accordance with Article 152 (5) (b) of Constitution, the Cabinet Secretaries listed below have be dismissed from office as stated,” the notice reads.
The CSs are Kithure Kindiki (Interior), Simon Chelugui ( Cooperatives and SMEs), Aden Duale (Defence), Njuguna Ndung’u (Treasury), Davis Chirchir (Energy), Alfred Mutua (Tourism and Wildlife), Alice Wahome (Lands).
Ababu Namwamba (Youth and Sports), Salim Mvurya (Mining), Kipchumba Murkomen (Roads and Transport), Moses Kuria (Public Service and Delivery Services), Soipan Tuya (Environment and Forest).
Mithika Linturi (Agriculture), Aisha Jumwa (Gender), Ezekiel Machogu (Education), Eluid Owalo (ICT), Rebecca Miano (Trade and Industry), Susan Nakhumicha (Health), Peninah Malonza (EAC, ASAL and Regional Development), Zacharia Njeru ( Water, Sanitation and Irrigation) and Florence Bore (Labour).
