Relief for citizen as TaitaTaveta County in partnership with the national Government distribute relief food to over 30,000 households hard hit by hunger.

The County Government of TaitaTaveta in partnership with the national Government has started the distribution of relief food to over 30,000 households hard hit by hunger.

H.E Governor Andrew Mwadime,has stated that in order to avert the current crisis, like minded stakeholders and well wishers need to join hands in order to save lives.

” As we continue mapping and distribution of the food stuffs, I urge the relevant co_ordinators in the grass roots to make sure those in dire need of the food ,benefit. I know every one needs help but the truth is there are those whose situation is worse,let’s give them first priority as we put more resources to reach out more people” he said.

The distributions exercise was overseen by officials from both county and national Government across all sub counties ,where the county Government facilitated the distribution as it embarks on getting more food.
