Only 10 out of 300 health workers who did English test for UK jobs passed.
The Kenyan nurses and other health workers were recently offered a chance to work in the UK as part of a govt scheme. They needed to pass an English test as part of the requirements.
The CS however surprised the nation when he revealed on Wednesday that only 10 out of 300 passed the test.
“Out of 300 health workers sent for an English language test only 10 passed. We had negotiated for clinical workers for job exports but this turn of events is unfortunate,” he said
