NMS has renamed Mbagathi Way to Raila Odinga Way to honor former prime minister Raila Odinga contribution to this country.

Raila commissioned construction of Mbagathi Way in 2005 while minister of roads. The road was constructed 16years ago using concrete slabs and to date it doesn’t have potholes.

However, Kenyans have expressed their opinions and now want Nairobi Expressway named after the great Olympic marathoner Eliud Kipchoge, following the renaming of Mbagathi Way to Raila Odinga Way.
