Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala has won Kenya’s first Common wealth Games men’s 100M gold since 1962. Omanyala crossed the finish line in 10:02.
He clocked a time of 10.02s (-0.9) to win the men’s title ahead of defending champion Akani Simbine, who came 2nd in 10.13s. Yupun Abekyoon won a brilliant Bronze for Sri Lanka in 10.14s!
