Ferdinand Omanyala clocks 9.85 seconds to win men’s 100m race. He beats American sprinter Fred Kerley who came second with 9.92 seconds, Isiah Young 10.13

President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga cheer along with other Kenyans at Kasarani as Omanyala keeps other sprinters at bay to win the men’s 100m race.

World Under 20 800m champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi, 17years, made his mark at World Athletics Continental Tour Gold Series after registering a win in his first senior race at the Kip Keino Classic.

The 19-year-old set a national and championship record of 1:43.76 to storm to victory at the World Under 20 Championship in Nairobi last year.
