In his statement, Ababu noted, “It is notified for general information of the public that the Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts has revoked Gazette Notice No.1649 of 2023.”
Other personalities whose appointments were revoked were Spice FM presenter Jimmi Gathu and media celebrity, Catherine Kamau (Kate the Actress).
Namwamba, however, didn’t disclose why he quashed the appointments.Churchill and the team were picked to help the government revive and reform the creative industries, including sports.
