Oburu Oginga Calls for Family Meeting Amid ODM Internal Conflict
Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga has called for a family meeting as tensions continue to simmer within ODM Party.
In a brief statement on Friday, January 23, Raila Odinga Jr. echoed the appeal for dialogue, urging that the planned family meeting be held sooner.
Odinga Jr. said he is not a politician, respects everyone, and does not want to be dragged into the ongoing political disputes.
“I’m not a politician. I love everyone and respect everyone. My uncle has agreed to a family meeting on the 1st, but I would like it to happen sooner. I don’t know what is going on, please don’t drag me into that politics,” he said.
This comes days after Raila Odinga’s daughter, EALA MP Winnie Odinga, criticised some ODM leaders for allegedly attempting to push party members out.
