Matiang’i Defends Uhuru Amid Azimio Agents Scandal

Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Fred Matiang’i has defended former president Uhuru Kenyatta over the management of the Azimio election agents in 2022, urging the ODM politicians to focus on more important issues.

Speaking during a press briefing on January 6, the former Interior Cabinet Secretary addressed the ongoing discussion on the alleged mismanagement of the campaign funds where agents were allegedly never paid.
Matiang’i says that the ODM brigade is focusing on petty things like the agent payment instead of holding the government accountable on other important matters.

“Instead of focusing on important issues you are trivially focusing on petty things about which agent was paid and not paid,” Matiang’i roared.
