Former South African president Jacob Zuma jailed after handing himself in to police

Former South African president Jacob Zuma has been incarcerated in a correction facility. According to South Africa Daily, Jacob Zuma reported himself to police this morning to start his 15 months jail term.

Former South African President Jacob Zuma lost a court bid to overturn his arrest for contempt of court, days after turning himself in for a 15-month jail term in a case that has tested the post-Apartheid nation’s rule of law.

According to the Judge the former president failed to produce enough evidence at court to support his concerns on his health.
