The Royal Air Force QRA intercepted Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi to London Heathrow Over potential security threat

A KQ flight headed to London Heathrow has been intercepted by the UK Royal Air Force and diverted to Stansted Airport, over a potential security threat.

Reports indicate the plane which departed the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday morning was to land at London Heathrow and diverted to London Stansted Airport.

The plane was later cleared to proceed to Heathrow due to insufficient evidence of a security threat.
