Popular Kenyan DJ Joseph Mwenda Munoru, aka DJ Joe Mfalme, among 4 People arrested and detained at Kabete Police Station for allegedly assaulting a Police Officer who later passed away.

Police said some of the DJ’s handlers who assaulted Inspector Felix Kelian Kentos on March 16, 2024, are also in custody.

The four were detained by detectives from the Kabete Police Station who are handling investigations.

The assault happened after the officer was involved in a non-injury traffic accident at around 4am within Kikuyu market.

Kelian did not identify himself as an officer during the rage.

The officer died on Friday while receiving treatment at the Nairobi West Hospital.

He had been admitted and was undergoing treatment for abdominal pain and other injuries sustained after the alleged beating.
