Two survive as after Aircraft crashes at the Nairobi National Park
A trainee pilot and instructor were Wednesday evacuated after a light aircraft they were in crash landed at the Nairobi National Park.
The incident happened shortly after the plane had taken off from Wilson airport, Nairobi.
Police and witnesses said the plane had taken off from the airport for training sessions when it went down about four minutes later.
The two were later picked up from the scene by a chopper after making calls for evacuation.
Boda boda riders who witnessed the incident also breached the fence of the park and arrived at the scene, witnesses said.
Witnesses said the two were not injured as they arrived at Wilson Airport and walked out of the chopper.
They were, however, advised to go and seek medical attention.
