Safina presidential candidate, Jimi Wanjigi, denied clearance by the IEBC to run for the presidency over lack of Degree certificate

Safina presidential candidate Jimi Wanjigi has been denied clearance by the IEBC to run for the presidency over lack of a degree certificate, shortfall of signatures .

IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati cited failure to meet the requisite signatures and copies of IDs of those who approved his presidential bid.

Wanjigi failed to produce a valid degree certificate instead the billionaire businessman had offered a letter showing that he had cleared his coursework and was set to graduate in December this year.
