Governor Andrew Mwadime flagged off 14 Yamaha 175 DT motorcycles to boost mobility of county agricultural extension officers in a bid to enhance their movement to reach many farmers in remote areas and offer timely consultation and farmers education and training on modern and appropriate farming techniques.
“Today’s collaboration with various development partners like World Bank through National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP) is geared towards improving agricultural productivity by supporting efficiency of county agricultural extension service unit, a significant intervention in agriculture value chain.
My administration is committed to attain economic stability and food and nutrition security for Taita Taveta county citizens.” He said
