Wamatangi Kicked Out As Senate Majority Chief Whip
Jubilee Party has kicked out Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi as Majority Chief Whip in the Senate.
This was after he decamped to DP William Ruto’s UDA Party last week at Thika Stadium.
“Wamatangi immediately ceases to hold the office of the majority chief whip in the Senate,” secretary-general Jeremiah Kioni said.
“He ceases to hold any leadership position in any committee of the Senate that he currently holds by virtue of being a member of Jubilee Party.”
Jubilee made the resolution that Wamatangi would no longer hold the position following his resignation from the Jubilee party.
