UDA Governor Candidate, Hussein Tene, quit the race in favour of Independent candidate Godana Doyo.

United Democratic Alliance’s Isiolo gubernatorial candidate, Hussein Tene, on Sunday evening 15th July, at a meeting stepped down ahead of the 9th August General Election.

Tene quit the race and declared his support for independent candidate Godhana Doyo.

“I have officially stepped down in favour of Mr Doyo and ask all our supporters to support him because Isiolo is safe in his hands. I will work with him (Doyo) to ensure he reclaims the seat,” Mr Tene said.
