Taita Taveta County Assembly Committee on Appointments Vets The County Executive Committee Nominees.

The Taita Taveta County Assembly committee on Appointments on Tuesday 26th October, vetted various nominees to the County Executive Committee as nominated by H.E the County Governor, Andrew Mwadime.

Those who were vetted by the Committee include:

1. Mr. Peter Mnene – Agriculture Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation.

2. Ms. Wawuda Monikombo – Education, Libraries, VCT and ICT.

3. Mr. Danson Katuu Mzenge – Finance and Economic Planning.

4. Ms. Elizabeth Mkongo – Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, Mining and Energy

5. Ms. Christine Zighe – Devolution, Public Service and Administration.

The Committee on Appointments is constituted as follows:

1. Hon. Wisdom Mwamburi, Speaker – Chairperson

2. Hon. Anselm Mwadime, Deputy Speaker

3. Hon. Anthony Mng’ambwa, Majority Leader

4. Hon. Newton Kifuso, Minority Leader

5. Hon. Dorcas Mlughu, Minority Whip.

6. Hon. Constance Mwandawiro

Other members of the County Assembly was however in attendance in the vetting sessions.
