Raila Threaten To Boycott Elections Over Manual Register
Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga on Wednesday, July 6, threatened to boycott the August 9, General election if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) does not use the manual register.
Speaking during a campaign drive in Githunguri, Kiambu County, Raila stated that the IEBC must embrace both manual and electronic voter registers and if they do not, there would no election on August 9.
He insisted that both registers must be accessible due to alleged attempts to sabotage the upcoming election.
