Police Arrest Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakang’o in Mombasa
CONTROLLER OF BUDGET Margaret Nyakango arrested in Mombasa in connection to a complaint made against her and 10 other people in 2016.
In a notice by the Deputy Director of Public Prosecution Jacinta Nyamosi, Nyakang’o is set to face charges in connection to a complaint made against her and 10 other people in 2016 before she became CoB.
Nyakango and 10 others are set to face charges including conspiracy to defraud, operating an unlicensed Sacco, forgery, and uttering a false document.
According to the ODPP, there was sufficient evidence to charge the suspects with the four offences.
