‘Mystery’ woman in Juja dam tragedy revealed
A woman who drowned alongside a man after the car they were in plunged into a dam at Titanic area in Juja, has finally been identified as Fridah Warau Kamuyu.
The body of the 22-year-old woman identified as Fridah Warau Kamuyu from Mathioya, Murang’a County had been lying at Nairobi City Mortuary marked as unclaimed since January 18 when the incident occurred.
Police are still trying to determine the circumstances under which the vehicle plunged into the dam. Eyewitnesses said it slowly moved towards the dam before plunging inside leading to their deaths.
