Junet Mohamed and Abdulswamad Shariff Nasir Issue a Statement After Meeting
ODM Director of Elections Junet Mohamed has issued a statement after meeting MP Abdulswamad Shariff Nasir.
The 2 had a meeting after a video went viral on social media during campaigns at Tononoka Ground Mombasa where the 2 leaders were seeing disagreeing.
The Suna East legislator termed the video as fake stating that it was manipulated for political purposes.
“With my brother Hon. Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir. The last few days have seen so much rubbish said about me from a digitally manipulated video. In Tononoka, we drove together in the same vehicle to the venue and left together. Hon. Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir and I are deeply cordial. Ignore desperate rumours. Team Azimio is strong,” Junet stated.
